Fahri Hamzah (born November 10, 1971, in Sumbawa, Indonesia) is a prominent Indonesian politician known for his outspoken style and dedication to public service. He began his career as a student activist before entering politics, eventually serving as Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives from 2014 to 2019. His journey from humble beginnings—selling coffee and candy in his youth—to becoming a national leader reflects his resilience and commitment to representing the people.

Currently, Hamzah serves as Deputy Minister of Housing and Settlements under President Prabowo Subianto’s administration. As a co-founder and Vice Chairman of the Gelora Party, he continues to shape Indonesia’s political landscape, advocating for social welfare, housing development, and community empowerment.

Dr. M. Fauzan Adziman (born October 22, 1979, Bandung) is an Indonesian technopreneur and academic leader specializing in advanced manufacturing and materials science. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) in 2003, supported by multiple scholarships, and later pursued graduate studies at Tokyo Institute of Technology, where he received the prestigious Miura Award. He completed his Ph.D. in Computational Engineering at Swansea University in 2014.

Fauzan is the founder of Alloyed Ltd, a spinout from Oxford University focused on additive manufacturing. In January 2025, he was appointed Director General of Research and Development at Indonesia’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, where he plays a strategic role in advancing national innovation ecosystems and technology commercialization.

Prof. Dr. Andreas Matzarakis is an Extraordinary Professor at the University of Freiburg, where he works in urban and human biometeorology with a focus on the thermal component of the urban climate. Trained as a meteorologist at LMU Munich with a PhD on the bioclimate of Greece and a habilitation on urban thermal climate in Freiburg, he has held research and leadership roles at the University of Freiburg and from 2015 to 2024 led the Research Centre Human Biometeorology of the German Meteorological Service. His research spans human bioclimatology, urban climatology, tourism climatology and climate change impacts, alongside the development of applied models and tools such as RayMan, SkyHelios, the Climate Mapping Tool and CTIS. He has held prominent positions in the International Society of Biometeorology, chairs the German Society for the advancement of medical-meteorological research, and serves as Editor in Chief for the Biometeorology section of the journal Atmosphere.

Nicholas Kesuma is an Indonesian industrial leader and advocate for the steel and roll-forming industry. He serves as Chairman of the Indonesian Roll Former Association (ARFI), representing manufacturers in the cold-rolling sector that produce roofing, metal tiles, and structural components.

Dr. Indra Maha (born December 18, 1972, Bandung) is a civil engineer and public official with a distinguished career in infrastructure and housing development. He earned his doctorate from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), specializing in transportation materials and road systems.

His career spans multiple leadership roles in West Java’s public works agencies: Head of Road Maintenance (2014), Head of Regulation and Cooperation (2017), Head of Road and Bridge Management (2019), and Head of Construction Services (2020). In 2022, he became Secretary of the Public Works Agency before being appointed Head of the West Java Provincial Housing and Settlement Office, where he currently oversees housing policy and sustainable urban development.

Dr. Ravi Shankar Srinivasan is Associate Dean for Research and Strategic Initiatives and a tenured Full Professor of Construction Management at the College of Design, Construction and Planning, University of Florida, where he also directs the UrbSys Lab focused on urban building energy, sensing, controls, big data analysis, and visualization. Trained as an architect and building technologist with degrees from the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, the University of Florida, and the University of Pennsylvania, he specializes in high performance buildings, building energy modeling, and smart city applications. He holds multiple professional certifications, including Certified Energy Manager and LEED AP, and has led or co-led numerous externally funded projects from agencies such as NSF, HUD, and VA. He is widely published with more than 100 scholarly works, several books, and multiple patents licensed to industry, and serves in leadership roles with organizations such as ASHRAE and the National Fenestration Rating Council.

Dr. Samad Sepasgozar is an Associate Professor at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia, with a Ph.D. in Construction Engineering and Management from UNSW. His research focuses on digital twin technologies, smart cities, artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, and construction innovation. He has published over 300 high-impact academic papers and 10 books, and his work has positioned him among the top 5 global researchers in Digital Twin studies and within the top 2% of scientists worldwide, according to Stanford University rankings. Recognized as a world leader in Architecture (Computer Science and Engineering) by The Australian for three consecutive years (2023–2025), Dr. Sepasgozar is also an Associate Editor for the Journal of Architectural Engineering (ASCE) and a Guest Editor for several leading Q1 journals. His numerous accolades include the Publons Top Reviewer Award (2019) and multiple Editor’s Choice Paper Awards for his outstanding research contributions to smart and sustainable built environments.

Zeki is Senior Program Associate for Indonesia at ClimateWorks Foundation, providing high-level project support for an initiative to advance climate action and philanthropy in Indonesia, working with programs including Finance, Transportation, Cooling, and Forests and Land Use. Previously an Analyst at Climate Policy Initiative, he contributed to energy and sustainable finance research and led tracking and analysis of private climate finance in Indonesia. He has 4+ years in energy and climate advisory and 6 years in greenfield project development and financial modeling in energy-intensive industries. He holds an MSc in Energy Management from École des Mines de Paris and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Universitas Indonesia.

Prof. Dr. Mokhamad Syaom Barliana, M.Pd., M.T is a lecturer in the Technology and Vocational Education Study Program at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, specializing in architectural design, history and theory. Born in Kuningan, West Java on 4 February 1963, he is active in professional and scholarly bodies including the Indonesian Association of Vocational Lecturers and Teachers (ADGVI), the Indonesian Institute of Architects (IAI), the Indonesian Built Environment Research Association (IPLBI) and the International Vocational Education and Training Association (IVETA). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Building Technology Education from IKIP Bandung, master’s degrees in Technology and Vocational Education from IKIP Jakarta and in Architecture from Parahyangan Catholic University, and a doctorate in Social Science Education from UPI. His recent research addresses the use of traditional Sundanese architecture and ornamentation in interior and campus design and the enhancement of construction workers’ skills through vocational education and certification-oriented training.

Dr. Arinda Puspita Rachman is a researcher and consultant specializing in building performance, energy efficiency, and sustainable design. She earned her doctorate in Engineering Physics from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) in 2025.

Her work focuses on machine learning applications for passive design strategies in Indonesian commercial buildings, optimizing energy use, thermal comfort, and daylight performance. As a building performance analyst, she collaborates with academic and industry partners to develop data-driven design guidelines.

Dr. Eng. Mochamad Donny Koerniawan is an Associate Professor of Architecture at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). He earned his bachelor’s degree from Universitas Gadjah Mada, master’s from ITB, and doctorate from the University of Kitakyushu, Japan.

Koerniawan leads the Laboratory of Simulation and Digital Architecture at ITB, focusing on energy-efficient design, thermal comfort, and digital modeling. His research includes adaptive photovoltaic facades and real-time thermal stress prediction using wearable sensors. He is also active in green building initiatives in Indonesia.

Dr. Rizki Armanto Mangkuto is an Associate Professor in Engineering Physics at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). He earned his Ph.D. from Eindhoven University of Technology in 2014, specializing in daylighting and building physics.

His research covers daylighting optimization, lighting simulation, and building performance evaluation. Mangkuto has published extensively in international journals and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Daylighting. His work contributes to sustainable building design and energy-efficient lighting systems.

Mahditia Paramita is an urban planner, academic, and public policy expert with more than 18 years of experience in housing, sustainable development, and area planning. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), a master’s in Architecture of Human Settlements from KU Leuven in Belgium, and a PhD in Public Policy from UGM. Since 2007 she has led Caritra Indonesia, overseeing community-based and sustainable development projects across 11 provinces, while also serving as a certified Urban Design Principal and Community Empowerment Advisor and teaching at UGM on housing sustainability, waterfront urbanism, and interdisciplinary urban studies. Her recent work includes post-disaster reconstruction with the Asian Development Bank and Indonesia’s Ministry of Public Works and Housing, gender-responsive housing policy and the Indonesia Housing Policy Roadmap with the World Bank, as well as authorship of over 60 books on urban development, including “Strategi Membangun Kota.”

Dr. Eng. Solli Dwi Murtyas is an Assistant Professor at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), specializing in sustainable building systems and engineering physics. He earned his doctorate in engineering from ITB, where his research focused on energy efficiency, thermal comfort, and building performance modeling.

Murtyas has contributed to several projects on green building design and urban sustainability, integrating advanced simulation tools with practical applications in Indonesia’s rapidly growing cities. His academic work emphasizes bridging theory and practice, preparing students and professionals to address the challenges of climate change and urbanization.

Herlin Herlianika is a seasoned professional in sustainable development, energy efficiency, and cooling technology, with more than two decades of experience. A Mechanical Engineering graduate from Institut Teknologi Bandung, she has worked extensively as an independent technical consultant since 2000, contributing to strategic initiatives such as the Indonesia National Cooling Action Plan (NCAP). She currently serves as Senior Program Advisor at HEAT GmbH and Advisor at CLASP, where she supports the development of national standards and conducts market studies on household appliances. Herlin has also collaborated with the UN Environment Programme and led PT Ardhika Widya Hutama for nearly two decades, overseeing major industrial cooling projects including pharmaceutical clean rooms and fertilizer dehumidifiers. Her commitment to environmental issues is reflected in her role as a member of the Refrigeration Technical Options Committee (RTOC) and the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel (TEAP) under the Montreal Protocol. Nationally, she plays a key role in ASHRAE Indonesia Chapter, serving both as a Board of Governors member and Chapter President, positioning herself as a prominent figure in advancing environmentally friendly and sustainable cooling technologies in Indonesia.
